Ladder stitch with chevrons is an embellishment added to a standard ladder stitch pattern.  The ladder stitch is made with #8 seed beads 3 or 4 beads wide. The chevrons are added to the sides to look like hash marks from a military insignia. These are made with #11 seed beads

As you can guess you can make any color combination that is available in seed beads and that covers almost any combo you can think of.  We make the colors of the local high schools and universities for display at our local bead shows
